We will have breakfast at the hotel and then drive the hour and a half to the start of the coast. The Na Pali coast is one of the main attractions of Kauai. Na Pali literally translates to ‘High Cliffs.’ This is because the cliffs along the Na Pali coast rise as much as 4,000 feet above the Pacific Ocean. . All the valleys, beaches, caves and waterfalls on the Na Pali Coast are inaccessible by land. We will take a private boat tour along the coast stopping at several large sea caves and seeing marine life like dolphins, turtles, and tropical fish. The boat will drop us off at the final beach where we will be able to explore some of the most beautiful parts of the Na Pali coast by foot. On the way back we have the option of stopping at Queens bath which is a popular natural pool formed by hardening lava. If the swell is low then we can stop for a nice relaxing swim before returning to our hotel for the evening. |

After rappel, we will walk along the river to end the trip at the base of Wailua falls where we will have lunch and swim in the pools. During the evening we will go to shipwreck beach which is almost directly in front of our hotel. We will relax on the sandy beach, enjoy the refreshing water and those who want to can do some cliff jumping into the ocean from some small rock cliffs nearby. The jump is small, about 30 feet.
